Center Console 2007 650i

My center console is locked shut. This is the second time it happend. I had it in to the dealer once and they got it working again and within 2 months it was locked yet again. It has nothing to do with the key lock as I've tried to open the console withe the door locked and unlocked.

Help...I'd prefer not to go to the dealer again...Ideas are welcome.

Hi, Are ypu refering to the center console behind the gear lever? If so, mine does the same, especially in the heated months here. What works for me is to open the rear center console, remove the key from the bmw key, and insert it into the slot in the rear console, lock an dunlock, and this solved my problem. Hope this helps.
