E82 / E88 1 Series (2008 - 2013)
BMWs throw back to the iconic 2002, with a renewed form and function. The smallest car in BMW's line up but still packs a punch. Available in coupe or convertible, powered by either an inline 6 in the 128 or the twin turbo rocket sled 135. |

But first you should check with the local laws.

BMW window tinting
Calling the dealership is a excellent way to find a respectable window tinting business in Orlando. Getting a referal from a friend or family member is another way, if you trust their judgement. Just look at their car, to see what kind of tint job the received. Jason in sales, at Fields BMW, hooked me up with Choice Window Tinting of Orlando. Give troy a call at 321-439-3064

I have used Flying Window Tinters in Longwood since 2001 on 4 cars, 3 Bimmers. The price keeps going up and they are the most expensive from Ocala to Tampa to Orlando, but I'm not sure I want to try anybody else. The same guy has been doing the cars since at least 2005 when I had my second car done, so he has plenty of experience. They use Formula One which is made by Llumar but higher end and only approved shops can install it as opposed to anybody can install Llumar.
There is a fake Flying Window Tint on Semoran though and that's not the place. I might try 3M this time at a good looking shop in Winter Haven I believe.

in my neck of the woods, people know whos drivin what... and if you got a car that people recognize, people seeing you actually driving the car doesn't really matter. i gotta get tints on my 540i... but nobody cares since this is a 1 series thread 135i is my next car hopefully, uh but get 20's all around IMO... might be different in florida but 20's never get pulled over in CT, and 20's are illegal. 35's are legal

That said, today's BMW MUST have ceramic or nano-ceramic window film installed to avoid radio interference (this info can usually be found in the owners manual). No, the shark fin on the roof is not your radio antenna, it's actually an orange line hidden amongst the defrosters, making it vulnerable to interference from the wrong product. And with respect to tinters whose family members log on to bimmerfest to plug away, ceramic window films from LLumar DO NOT cost anything less than $239. Be VERY weary of a $140 quote. |

I went with Orlando Window Tint Specialists in Casselberry. They're the only certified Huper Optik dealer in the Orlando area, I went through Huper Optik's website to find them.
They did a great job, had it done about 3 months ago. Their tinters do this for a living, not as a rinky-dink side job on the weekends, so you know you're getting real tint not someone trying to pass the junk off as the name brand stuff. |

Have an 08 BMW 335i. I used a company called Detail Wiz. Only got 70% in the front, but had them do 25% in the back. I got their next to highest option, the Carbon tint, for $235. Does not interfere with my radio at all + looks like it came with the car. Ask for Fred if possible. Only thing is that they don't do shop. In my case they tinted my BMW in my office garage, which worked out pretty convenient for me. http://detailwiz.com/window-tinting

window tinting in orlando
I've been using the tint man for years. They are mobile if you have a garage. They also have tint shops in Longwood and Clermont if you don't. www.carandhometinting.com 407-678-TINT(8468)
