BMW M5s Arrive at the Performance Delivery Center - Now with Video!

BMW Performance Delivery Center gets F10 M5s

The Performance Delivery Center took delivery of their F10 M5s for the performance delivery experience. The cars are still in the break in period but once they get past 1200 miles they'll be put into service ripping around the track. Notice the carbon ceramic brakes and gold calipers. These cars are spec'ed out to handle the track!

After the 1200 mile break in and first service Jonathan Stribble, BMW Performance Center product and delivery support specialist, took the F10 M5 out for a couple of laps. Jonathan wasn't able to push the car to its full potential as he was looking after the tires. We hope to have another video from him soon where he really gets on it.

Get more information on getting your next BMW at the Performance Delivery Center

Special thanks to Jonathan Stribble for helping with the video work!

Any way to discern whether they're DSG (I think that's the acronym) or 6-speed?

Not breaking in yet, and they are already almost redlining it?

I'll check but I'm 99% sure they're DCT (dual clutch transmission).

Just added a new sneak peek video of the new fleet of M5s getting track time.

Now doesn't that just look like a ton of fun??

Mein Auto: 2013 M5 - 9/1 ED Pickup
I originally planned on doing PCD after my ED on 9/1 for my M5. Decided to opt out of PCD after I found it takes 6 weeks extra to go through the process on top of the four weeks to get to the US. Dont think I can wait 10 more weeks after picking it up on 9/1
