Funny, but why is the ///M3 bade made up incorrect parts, and glued in the wrong location?

For reference. The //M on your car is about where the 3 should be. and the 3 is the non-italicised version from the E46+ //M3

Hmmm... Looks like you took a regular ///M badge and combined it with a 3 from some other car - definitely looks different than in should. It definitely isn't where it should be, though. The whole thing is too high and too close to the trunk line, and the ///M and the 3 shouldn't be directly next to each other. Here is a photo for reference. This is how it should be positioned on a sedan:

hmm interesting, i wonder when that was changed. it was like that when i got the car...ill have to check it out, the 3 is not as far away from the M as the yellow one, it looks more like the silver pic. ill get another straight on shot for reference....

Remember that the silver M3 linked to above is a coupe, and the yellow is a sedan (like yours). The rear ends are a little different between the two.

haha, the m symbol is a lot older and the 3 is new, guess the old one fell off or something...! not sure how i never noticed that before. ive had the car for 2 years now...ill put up a pick soon as i can remember...
