FYI, be careful with Michelin PSS if you go to 20" as you will likely get 7/32" Tread Depth in Front and 10/32" in the Rear. This may have to do with the Tire being engineered for Ferrari. For this and other reasons, I will go with a different tire on the 20s"

The tire is, in and of itself, a vital if not the most important piece of the suspension. But it behaves independent of the fixed suspension components. There are no alterations needed to the suspension or TPMS sensors when you switch to regular go flat tires. The only adjustment you may need is to buy a 5 dollar can of tire sealant in case you get a flat or a air compressor kit.

Ordered Bridgestone S-04 today. Wanted Michelin PSS but couldn't get as quickly.
Thanks for this forum for allaying my fears on driving without a parachute, so to speak. Also ordered Slime tire repair kit from Amazon for $39.77. |

I hear that. Didn't read the article but I imagine the PSS is more of a pure performance tire. It came down to the PSS and the S-04. The PSS was a couple hundred bucks more but my decision was based more on talking to the tire shop people when I told them what I wanted in the F10, how I drive and that I was only using the car for street use. They know I have a 335i coupe and they said that you will get more out of the PSS in that car. SO that's what I'm gonna put on the 335i.

This is why I honestly don't mind high performance all seasons. I honestly don't push the car to the limits, so as long as the tire is very good at 8/10ths, I'm good.
