I agree with your spouse and that's exactly what came to my mind when I first saw a new X5 driving at night. It's the same issue with the LCI e92, the light displacement looks like it's all over the place and basically floods out the xenons making them look like aftermarket lights.

That's why I wanted to know if these aftermarket replacements will give that "aftermarket" look at night.
