OP, I think I'd skip PB just because it scratches just by looking at it. If you have the time to constantly polish it, then go for it because PB does look fantastic.

Otherwise, Anthracite is my choice. I wonder if BMW has Audi-like textured wood in its Individual lineup, it looks really cool.

And no B&O?

B&O isn't worth it to me. I barely listen to music in the car, and a very large part of the reason I am upgrading from a Dinan 550i to an M5 is the Motorsport Soundtrack.

In the Individual line up you can get any type of trim you want. But textured wood is not a standard F10M ordering guide option, it would be a custom Individual request. If I went that path, I would get the snakeskin rather than textured wood. However. I am not going to do that. I want to keep the ED purchase price reasonable in case I upgrade to something else for 2014.

Are you going to get the Dinan tune when it comes out for the M5?

I doubt it.

Turns out I'm staying in the US (moving to CA, actually) so I will be taking delivery of a US M5 in August.
Great. You will probably be one of the first in the US.

Let me know if you are able to remove the electronic speed limiter by coding once you receive it. I am getting requests from the other 9/1 ED guys for this.
