Medium or finishing polish

I have a question - I have a new M3 with about 1300 miles on it. There are a few swirl marks from the dealer and a couple other minor things I'd like to polish out but it shouldn't require much polish or an aggressive polish. My question is do finishing polishes have much grit to them to remove swirl marks or do I need a medium polish?

The abrasives vary in all polishes, so a medium polish will be more abrasive than a finishing polish.

The abrasives can be fine tuned by using different grades of foam pads. Try a finishing polish / polishing pad (i.e. Lake County White foam) before you step up to a medium polish

Hey Tax guy!

You will need a medium polish at least, bmw paint is hard.

HD UNO is what I use & the wonderful thing about it is, is that UNO is pad dependent.

You can cut with it or finish with it.


1 product does it all.
