Mein Auto: a car
measuring toe alignment the low tech way?

websites say-
An incorrect toe-in will cause rapid tire wear to both tires equally
Does this mean.... if the right tire points inward slightly more than the left, both tires still wear equally ?

The Hunter machine says my right tire is 0.15* toe in, out of spec.
Left tire is 0.07* toe in, in spec.

I was concerned Just Tires didn't calibrate their machine, so I came home, set the steering wheel straight, and measured A and B according to service manual.....
total toe-in is pretty much within spec. I am slightly over-toed by 19/10000 of an inch.
Service manual calls for 0.118" max total toe-in, and my actual measurement is 0.1199".
However there's still the issue of the 2 tires pointing at different inward angles...
