Must take delivery at PCD, correct?

Surely, you must take delivery of your car at the PCD in South Carolina after ED in order to take advantage of what the PCD course is. In other words you can't have it shipped to the dealer who did your ED and fly up to PCD just to do the course. Am I correct on this?

The Performance Center offers courses that you can pay for, or you can do PCD for free. In other words, you can have your car shipped to the dealer, fly to the Performance Center, but you have to pay for the courses which are more involved than the normal PCD experience. Now, having said that, there is a program called BMW 101 that sometimes the dealer will pay for....do a search for this.

That's what I did when I got my 6er at the beginning of February. I would've had to wait until mid- to late March to do the real PCD due to scheduling, so they said I could do the 101 instead. I took delivery of my car on the last day of January and went for the 101 in mid-February, and I got to do everything that the people doing the true PCD did aside from the product review portion (i.e. track time, hotel and meals paid for, factory tour, museum, etc.).

Here's my review of this experience: http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/sho...098&highlight=
