F22 / F23 2 Series (2014 - Current)
The 2 Series coupe is the replacement for the E82/E88 1 series coupe. Production starts in November 2013 on the 228i (N20) and M235i (N55) coupes. Look for them in dealerships in February 2014. The convertible F23 2 series will follow in the fall of 2014.

Ding, Ding, Ding! I think we're all pretty much saying the same thing. My guess is a low-option, manual transmission, 4-cylinder turbo 1 will be a great car to drive, but you still have to look at it every time you walk out to drive it. Again, maybe the front end will look better in person.

There was a new 1-Series at the Munich airport last September when I did ED. The front is really unpleasant, IMO.

Yeah I honestly don't understand how those headlights ever got approved. Pedestrian safety is no excuse for fugly. Atleast the LCI can't make things worse..guessing that's when we will see it brought to the us anyway. All they had to do was scale down the 5 series front end and they'd have a nice clean handsome hatch. Such a wasted opportunity!
