What 19" tires did you get on your 2012/2013 sport pkg X5?

Just went to the dealer and I saw the 4x4 Contacts by Continental on the X5 D. Was expecting Michelin Latitude ZP, anyone have any comments to share or which is better?

This has been discussed constantly with each model year...

I suspect it is driven by the tires that are in stock at the factory when your car is built... My 2010 and 2012 came with Mich LZPs... made in October.

But it seems like a crap shoot.

I understand it's a crap shoot just looking for people's experience with the conti on the x5. Heard horrible tread wear experience on other cars with the conti tires.

My came with 4x4 continentals. Ride and handling are nice, it is 6k miles now and very little wear on both fronts and rear, hardly noticeable. I expected worse after all those reviews, now I am quite happy.

Well that is good to hear... all I have heard are nightmare reviews. Had a friend with a Touraeg that chewed through these tires in about 15k.

The good thing is they come with free road hazard warranty.

Mine came with Bridgestone duellers. I have less than 3k miles so far so I can't give a long term review but the ride isn't too bad.
