What's Going on Here?

I just got off the phone with my service advisor. He says that they will have to keep my 2011 335d an extra day. All he knows so far is that they have a throttle body on order which is expected to arrive tomorrow. My vehicle has 46k miles. I took it in for rear brakes and while enroute the check engine light came on. Anyone have any ideas? I had the egr recall done a couple of months ago.
