Maf worth cleaning?

Has any one had any luck cleaning the maf or idol control sensors?

Yes is worth cleaning. Once you clean it (MAF) plan to buy another one soon because it will not last too much. Use ONLY MAF spray cleaner. Some say it will work when you clean it first time. I had luck several times, on different cars with cleaning once only.

In twelve years of e38 ownership I have not found cleaning the MAF to be helpful except in the shortest possible term.
