leak at the convetible top and window

Hi everyone, after reading different posts on this subject and trying the 3 diff proposed solutions, naturaly it's the last one that worked. Removing the rails that hold the weather seal that needed to be pushed outward by shimming with washers, it allows a tighter contact between the seal and the window. while doing this job I also found the common problem at the Apilar, luckily for me I had already read FastWoman post. If you have to replace the stars original bolts, exagon head will do fine up to a lenght of 12mm using a washer at the head, the new head thickness will be accomodated by the concave groove of the seal.

I found a well placed smack, outward, with a 2x6 worked very well these last few years..... no leaks
