How about a shot of the front? I don't think I'v seen the front of a no line.

Also noticed no chrome trim, perfect when black kidneys are fitted.

Hey... actually there is a moonroof. But here is a shot of the front for you!

Hi Spec No Line 335i

I don't like the other lines, in fact I cancelled the Luxury line I was going to get because I really dislike the chrome trims on the front.
Yeah mine is also pretty high spec with the no line trim. Premium Pckg/ Tech Pckg/ Prem Sound Pckg/ Split Fold/ BMW Apps/ Enhanced BT.

Can you attach a pic of yours? Thx

Forgot, moonroof standard on 335.

Black kidneys and gunmetal up sized wheels will round your car up to be a super line appearance, more rare and unique than the other three lines

A truly wonderful car ! Congratulations on the purchase !

i'm in a similar dilemma on whether to order the sportsline and skimp on certain goodies or get the base 335i and splurge on some packages . Is it really worth the extra 1700 $. I know the seats is what most people on the forum prefer over the ones on the base 335i. Also the ability to get sport + mode....though I read somewhere on this post that sport + would be included if you get the dynamic handling package....is that true ?

yes it is true if you get the adaptive suspension you get the sport + and adaptive steering. The sport seats however for me at least were worth the 1,700. As a bonus you get the nicer wheels, different steering wheel, and a few other extra.

However if we could order the sport seats say for 750 I would have opted for that and then spend the rest of the money on a nice set of wheels and summer tires (probably would cost an additional 1K). then I would have the original wheels and tires for winter driving. That IMO would have been a great way to do it.

The sport seats never excited me, they didn't feel more supportive. At times they even feel restrictive as I backed out the car.

Now I know one can carefully spec out a no line, put some money into aftermarket mods to make it look like a special edition line.

Can't agree with you there, for me the sport seats are a must. i just can't get comfortable in the "regular" seats to the point that my right foot goes numb in the X5. The last X5 had them and they were a dream on long trips. I could drive 5 hours straight and feel I just started driving. With this one if not for cruise control to move my foot off the gas petal I would not be able to feel it after 2 hours, plus the back support is not there for me.

It's actually not as bad as I had thought. BMW configurator is offering higher resolution pictures for the 2013 model year cars, and the images of the Everest Gray with sport line look pretty good; Bizarrely the configurator for the black/aluminum accent option does not show a red stitching on the steering wheel, which I'm pretty sure is bogus, all of the sport line cars have the red stitching on the steering wheel, which to me, was going to look a little odd in a car that would otherwise have no other red accents.

I just noticed one can add dynamic handling package to the no line, which gives adaptive M sport suspension and variable sport steering, does this give you sport + mode?

Ok just realized the post above answered my question. That is by far the best value package, for just $1,000. I am finally warming up to it, an all black no line with adaptive M suspension MSRP a little over $38k for a 328i, with aftermarket racing wheels should make for the best F30 for the track or autox.

I 100% agree. The no line is the way to go! I wanted a more luxurious ride so went for the standard suspension this time. But cost to value, it is better to go a la carte on the 3er rather than get a line that has elements that you may not want.

I'd go no line on a 335i. The sport line is just too nice on a 328i to pass up.

Regular seats vs sport seats make me cry though. Sport seats are just beyond comfortable.
