Jersey - Channel Islands

Does any know if insurance covers driving in Jersey? It is not part of United Kingdom, rather a crown dependancy. My friend has recently moved from London to Jersey and I was thinking of taking a ferry from Northern France over and visiting him.

This is what we received when we took delivery last month (June 8, 2012). It doesn't specifically mention the Channel Islands. But why not go on the assumption that what's good for the Queen is good for Jersey? Good Luck. PS We always wanted to go there after we watched the British TV series Enemy At The Door.

I actually spoke with Larissa @ ED and she said since the island is tied to UK, I should be fine. Worst case scenario, my friend said that I can park in St. Malo and take ferry by ourselves, but I would have loved to show off my new 335i M-Sport that I have yet to place an order for.
