00 740i - Need engine!!! Help!!!!

Ok, so I'm new to this forum and BMW community. I think I got taken when I bought my car. It's a 2000 740i Sport. The owner told me when he shut the car off, it never started again. Paid the $1000 and had it towed home.
It has Nav and the interior is perfect, car has 104K miles.

I put a wrench on the crank bolt and cannot get the engine to turn. No water in oil, no external oil leaks ( as far as I can tell without the motor running).

Anyone in the Orlando, Fl. area know where I can find a good used motor?
Could it be something else?
