2004 X5 Inside Cover of Sunroof

Hello to everyone, I have a 2004 X5, the sunroof glass operates fine and opens and closes the window normal, but the inside of the car, the cover is not moving with the sunroof. Any suggestions as to what it could be?

BMW X5 sunroof problem

Thanks for the reply. I will try your suggestion, I have replaced the motors and they seem to be working fine. The light sensor on top of the drivers seat? You refer to the cabin light?

Let me ask you something in reference to same 2004 BMW X5. The navigation system is locked, there is radio, but can't change stations or activate the CD or the GPS, also it won't turn off, it seems it's locked or something, do you have any clue as to how to get it back to work properly? You know how it lifts to put on a cassette, well that doesn't work either. Any ideas?

im sorry i have not encountered this problem b4, do u have an owners manual?

if u think its locked then disconect the battery for 5 mins, then put key in ignition 2 for 10 mins, i think this is for the starting lock, but who knows if it might work lol
