ED ordering MY2013 535i

Hi guys!

I'm located in Bay Area (CA) and thinking about leasing a 535i MY2013 European Delivery. I have few questions that I couldn't figure out by searcing & googling:

1. If I place an order now and the car is delivered in September, would it be MY2013? Is the model year based on the date of actual order, manufacture or delivery?

2. I've read several posts about people ordering ED cars through an out-of-state/area CA. In those cases, where is the car delivered, to the CA or to your local drop-off point?

3. One of my friends got his 3-series about $500 below regular invoice (not ED car). Is it possible to go below invoice with ED's as well, obviously depending on the CA or is ED invoice the absolute minimum any dealer will go?

4. How is money factor these days? I've heard car buying is most expensive in summer season and least in fall/winter...should I wait out a few months? Anyone willing to disclose the lowest MF rate being offered?

5. Is the $1500 options allowance applicable on ED-invoice pricing as well.?

6. I was trying out bmwconfig.com but I couldn't find Sport Package in the configurator, is it listed under a different name?

Looks like there isn't a Sport Package or Premium Sound Packagefor MY13 535i ? Can a dealer confirm?

> Yes, 2012's ended production in June.

> If you are looking for a rock-bottom price, final delivery will occur at dealer.

> Nobody will do an ED deal at a loss (i.e., below invoice). With traditonal US Delivery there is back-end money ~ "holdback"; not so with ED. $500 over Euro invoice is as low as it goes.

> Rates are the lowest they've been in the past year. With ED there is a .0003 rate adder.

> There is no option allowance on 2013s.

And to add to Jon's post...

He is just a short train ride down to Santa Barbara and can walk you through the ED process painlessly. I strongly recommend him.

Also BMW Config has the sportsline as a sub item on the M-Sport package. They are not always perfect. If you configure the car the way you want with the M Sport Package but don't want the extras it gives you just subtract 1200 from your total and that will be the Sport package price.

I'm also in the Bay Area and I just did my ED with Jon (2nd ED with him) back in March. He'll make the ED process totally easy and give you Bimmerfest special pricing.
