Windscreen washer problem

The windscreen washer has stopped working, a few drops of water emerge for a couple pf second but then stop. Pump runs ok and pipes do not semm to be blocked.

I dont know what the electrical wiring does that enters the rear of the piddler pipe units, could this be the source of the problem, an electrical failure. All relevant fuses are OK !

Solution to Windshield Washer problem

The same happened to my 2001 Z3. The washer system was producing nothing when I bought the car. My mechanic listened to the pump and determined it was working. He pulled the pump up from the reservoir and pulled off the completely gummed-up filter. A quick wash and it worked perfectly. One of the nozzles didn't work, so he removed the filter at the nozzle and reconnected the water tube directly. Perfect washer system now. Might work in your case as well. Good luck!
