Hey guys,

I was wondering how to take my car key apart as my unlock button stopped working.

I have seen the thread where it needs soldering but i cant get the key case to open.

Help needed guys lol

Hey D4T, instead of using the existing shell, buy a new one from ebay, works great, I did mine and it looks brand new.

Just re-soldered mine! Put it back together and......nothing, not only did my unlock not get fixed but all buttons didnt work...put it in the car and started the car, drove it for a good 20 minutes, than tried the remote again....perfection! All in working order!

I love DIY that go as planned!! Just need to order a new case now, as mine is kinda nicked up from cutting it open!
