Need a used transmission ASAP (Auto)

well just as i was getting my engine running correctly, my reverse goes out on me. anyone know of a good source to get a used auto trans from? or would it be more practical to just do a manual swap?

NEVERMIND i found out it is my TCC and PWM solenoid because i have the GM transmission it only acts up once in a while the solenoids are bad because it will engage into reverse and then not engage sometimes. now my new question is where to get these solenoids??

I'd look into getting an entire valve body replaced, the problem could be more than a solenoid. I have a link in my signature that can be helpful

Good luck, let us know how it works out for you. The solenoid seems to be a hit or miss solution. Hope it will help your non reverse. Worth a try.

yeah from what i've read on this thread http://forum.e46fanatics.com/showthread.php?t=706809 it seems to me that the solenoid will fix my problem because i have the same symptoms this guy had. and i believe even taking the tcc solenoid out and cleaning out the screen and a fresh fluid change could also fix the problem.
