Transmission problem
1999 bmw 528i automatic transmission was rebuilt a few months ago, yesterday I was on a highway and as I pulled off the transmission did not shift to 1st gear, I came to a stop at a red light and the car stalled, I restarted the car and put it in drive and the car stalled again, I was able to manually shift the car from 1st gear to Drive to get the car home, a few miles from home the problem stopped and the car shifted normally, what would cause such a problem?
