Thanks guys! Pretty happy with the car so far. Got it last week on Saturday. Had to wait about 3 weeks while our CA worked her magic to trade with another dealer for a car in transit. She was received into port on 7/23 and we got her on 7/28. We were able to get all of the options we wanted and make it work out right. Seeing some increased gas mileage over the 07 650i vert, so happy about that, but man that convertible will be missed when the weather is perfect outside. I'll be sure to post on the forum regarding any news with the car. I'll put some better pictures up this week, now that we got the tint put on.

Thank you XZLR8. LOVE the X6M, thus the blind spots don't like me very much....I backed the X6M in to another one of my cars parked on my driveway (driveway is a tad slopped....).

I've had plenty of expensive 3 piece wheels over the years and bending one makes you want to . The MRR is a pretty sturdy wheel...I've already hit a couple of big potholes with the wheels still running true. I live pretty close to their plant so if I do one day bend one, my dealer says they can have a new one on the car in 24 hrs.

I got a set of MRR GT5 for my wife's car and I can tell you they are tough as nails. My wife has banged and beat those wheels silly. The surface has been scraped but there are no bends, no wobbles, no peeling (other than self inflicted). If they can withstand my wife, they can handle anything or anyone else.

Man, nothing looks as nice a a black car. Especially new or freshly washed. But they are a PITA to keep looking shiny. Had there been a carbon black on the lot the day we were there, I'm sure I't would be in my garage today.

Instead I got my second favorite color in Titanium Silver. Pretty much looks clean all the time but will never look as good as black! Nice look!

This is good to know....sounds like my situation now. My wife is the primary driver and does not have the same appreciation for the car as most of the folks you find on forums like this. She drives the crappy West LA roads like she's in a Chevy and thinks nothing about it. I cringe whenever I'm in the passenger seat but she hasn't bent one yet.... not even a scratch. I'm pretty impressed!

Those are one of my favorite rims. Had them on a few cars before. I wanted to get a set for this car,
but ended up with HR6 to try out the concave look. But I know I will end up back with the GT1's
real soon, especially after seeing yours. How did you lower yours?

Where in West LA are you? Im there as well. Stay off the Wilshire corridor . Potholes can be classified as craters. My 20" MRR's have held up well. Im going to put the 22's you have on the 750 soon as well.

Yeah real happy with the wheels and they are pretty tough. I lowered the car with H&R springs!

We live in Burbank...just north of the 134 freeway but commute down to W Pico everyday. I'm not a big fan of black wheels but those are tastefully done!

Below are two pics I took this morning at the dealership.

I visited that dealership in South Florida on a recent trip, I was looking for color combinations to order our GC. Unfortunately, they only had one. I did manage to see a 640 Coupe with the Amaro Brown Interior. That's what we ordered. Was hoping to see moonstone too but they did not have it. Saw Carbon Black and really liked it so we ordered Carbon Black/Amaro. Counting the days until re-delivery.
