about to place my order!

I just need to finalize my color combo. What do you think of this build?

And, I'm considering option 752 - Enhanced Premium Sound, but I haven't found a X6 with this included to use as a comparison.

Only other color combos would be Space Gray/black, or Sapphire Black/black. I was interested in Saddle Brown interior, but it just has too much of an orange hue for my liking. Sand beige is nice, but I don't like light colored interiors.

Dealer says if I place my order this weekend, I could take delivery in early to mid September.

I'm very happy with the EPS (Individual Sound in Canada) system in my X5. Definitely try and find a car with it before passing on it.

Check to see if they are still giving Active Steering away for free (of course word it more appropriately)

Enhance Premium must be ridiculously loud because the Premium Sound is excellent. DO you have an Iphone. BMW Apps is useless without Apple product. My Whatever generation iPod is not even working well with it.

How can I tell which local dealer has a build allocation closest to going final? I heard a few dealers talk about code 111 and code 112. What would be the right question for me to ask them to find out how soon an unsold allocation would be built? Im afraid of agreeing to a price with a local dealer just to find out the allocation I've been assigned is 2-3 months in the future! Thanks. I couldn't find the answer using the search function.

I've been told that the Active Steering deal is over.

I do have a current iPhone, so I'm hoping to be able to use all of the apps features.

I think Enhanced Premium Audio is the new freebie as long as you order Premium Audio. My previous car had it added and my new Production order has it on the build sheet as well!

Never had AS on the 2010 but did have Adaptive Drive, I was the only one who used it as the missus found the ride too stiff especially on the 20's. Don't think I'll miss it on this new one as I've thrown around another 50i and I can tell a slight difference on cornering but not too much! I think its probably a driver compensation aid at the end of the day.

Hey, I can verify tomorrow if Enhanced Premium Sound is the new "freebie". Picking up '13 X6 50i that replaces current '09 X6 50i. I saw on the online order status it showed this as an option though I did not order it and assumed it was just a mistake with the online order status! We'll see!

That's interesting, just ordered mine with Enhanced Premium Sound... Wonder if invoice will reflect it as being "Free" ?

Not included... Makes sense... Would imagine if it was a "freebie" in similar nature to the Active Steering, whomever was placing the order would need to know this and get the order in that way!

That said, I swear the premium sound in my '13 X6 is better than the '09 X6 I just turned in... maybe placebo effect.

Well that's pretty opposite of a 35i in Marrakesh Brown!! Congrats - looks amazing!

I felt like I was stepping back a bit in power, by going from the 645 V8 to the 35i. The 35 just didn't make me smile like the 50i does!

The clincher on color - I saw the Marrakesh Brown at dusk, and it look "frumpy" (my wife's word) and I had to agree. The color really pops at high-noon, but became rather boring with less light.

Something about beige and brown and bronze colored cars seem to elicit that word

Can't go wrong with space gray, nor with the 50i! Congrats again!

Sure am, weird is I did not order it on the first car but it got delivered with it unless they screwed up that along with the Sport Package!

Very likely (Smile). I would be surprised that the gave away something that is priced out at a G. The AS had no pricing as a stand alone, so the their mistake was to make it a stand alone-- which is corrected now. One upside to buying a car before the kinks have been worked out.

I was really looking forward to seeing a Marrakesh Brown X6.. the wait will continue. The exterior of the car looks great. I most likely will never get black seats in a car, but this cat is so hot-- that the color doesn't seem to matter for anything besides a bit more uniqueness. Enjoy the great deal u must have gotten with this ride!
