M6 Brake Pad Reset Help

Hey folks I just did pads, rotors, sensors, on my 07 M6 and the tech didnt reset the pad life in the idrive. Now I'm getting a message that my car needs new pads. Anyone know how to reset these? I know it has something to do with pushing the trip mileage button when you first turn the car to accessory. The shop I take my car went out of business so its not like I can take it back to them. Thanks for any/all help in advance.

Push and hold Odo Reset button til you see "Reset?" Then release and push again until the Brake symbol comes up. It will cycle through all the Service items. Finally, push and hold until the counter resets. All this is done with Ignition ON, but engine OFF. Press your Start button twice without the brake pedal to turn Ignition ON, but not start the engine.

Thanks man, I actually called a BMW tech buddy of mine yesterday and he walked me through the same steps. I never knew what to do when reset? came up and tried it several times even after your reply following the steps and couldnt get it to reset. I took it down the road to some European guys and they hooked it up to a computer and took care of biz. Thanks again for your response.
