is is fine spline or coarse spline? because the spline changed in 85 for the e28e. also there are a few different types of steering wheels for the e34.

looks fine to me. 54 splines plus or minus... my eyes are too tired at the end of the day for any more accurate count than that! i'll take another look at it tomorrow.
