XM artist name on nav overlay instead of channel name?

The upper status field (overlay) on the iDrive nav view shows the XM station name but I'd rather it showed the artist name instead. Anyone know if this is possible?

While in Satellite Radio, iDrive to the left, scroll to the top icon, select. There are three settings, Channel name, Artist, and Track. Pressing the iDrive will rotate through the three.

This does change the view while in the radio split screen, but the upper status field overlay on the nav (the small box that sits in the top right corner of the nav view) still shows XM channel name when this option is changed.

Ah. I know of no way to change that.

OK, the best option I've found for showing full XM info and the nav map is to use voice control and say "Entertainment details". Then you can see the xm channel, artist and song name on the right side and keep the nav on the left. This might be obvious to some.
