Trouble codes
I am new to owning a 2000 BMW M5 but have owned 2 BMW M3, the M5 is Throwing codes from a Peak Reader:
PEAKE: 18 74 AA 32 C7 C6 CC DO D1 D3 D5 C8 C9 CF D2 I know this has been discussed several times but I want to make sure it is the secondary air system. I herd you can fix the problem by buying the shark injector is that true. Thanks, -keith |

Hi Keith- sorry for the delay, I never come here. m5board dot com.
The AA is the absolute LEAST of your worries. I'd get the car fixed, all codes except AA gone, and THEN think about buying software (and then I'd buy Evolve) I am being lazy, and on an ipad, so I will not look up your codes for you...just from memory, I think those are misfires?? Anyway, I can look later, but you should list mileage and prior maintenance. In particular: O2 sensors? Spark PLugs? Air filters? CPS? FUEL FILTER???? Let us know on those... A
