Looks like a very nice place. A tad pricey, but not obscene. I will note, however, that I have paid less for a 2 story duplex suite in Avignon.

I have stayed there many times and will be there for 4 nights labor day weekend. It is a very nice place and the price is in line with other places in the area (of which there are very few)

Yes, the law of supply and demand does function everywhere. And, to be honest, they're not out of line for specialty locations in nice vacation areas.

Still, I'm not sure how "Hey, at least we're less expensive than hotels in European capitals!" will go over as a slogan.

Working on my reservations as well. Sent an email to Shaffin and waiting for a callback so I can get this done and focus on identifying some scenic drives for that weekend.

called there today- $229 or $249 for the Inn with a $10 discount, a whopping 4%. $189 for the auxiliary building which the girl on the phone described as "like a 70's motel"

Pricey, indeed! Booked or not, I keep exploring other options in the area. If anything decent comes along, I'll chime in with the findings.

There are few places to stay in the area and the prices are all about the same.
Another possibility is the Interlaken Inn which is about 10 minutes from Lime Rock

Their prices are the same or higher than the Wake Robin Inn.

The White Hart Inn in Salisbury closed last year (they were very expensive) and the other places in the area had to take up the slack.

Captain, I was hoping to make it for just Saturday (Fri was definitely out) but I now can't make that either. So me and Mrs. Dump are a scratch for the weekend. You're going to have to tow the E93 banner solo.

I am in for Saturday and Sunday.

Well, betting on Friday traffic on the Mass Pike is always an exercise in random number theory, but I would guess we'd be getting there around 7:00 pm. We could go straight to the restaurant and check into the inn afterwards.

If that's a drag on other people's time, we can always eat along the way and join up for breakfast the next morning.

The Boatyard is fun, they used to offer free dinners if it was your birthday. Not sure they still do that

This sounds like fun and a great opportunity to finally meet some of the Bimmerfest regulars. Unfortunately, my 335is is in Florida so I'll have to take another car.

I'm going to call and try to get a room reservation for Friday and Saturday night at the Wake Robin Inn. It's about a 4+ hour drive without heavy traffic if that's possible.

I'm planning on including my wife if she has recovered enough from her foot surgery by then.
