ModBargains has been doing Car of the Month Awards for customers' cars for quite some time now. Up until this point we haven't had a story that has resonated with us as deeply as Ken's. Ken is a very strong man, and he has to be, having five beautiful daughters isn't necessarily the easiest thing for a father to handle, but as of late, it became even more difficult. While Ken was deployed overseas in Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan, one of his daughters, Macey, was diagnosed with an inoperable cancerous brain tumor. Macey, who is now 20 years old, continues to have chemotherapy treatments, and radiation treatments to continue to get better, and her father Ken, continues to fight his way for a cure

Daughters, Alyssa and Maranda race their father's super modified Chevy Camaro to raise awareness for their sister Macey, and they not only raise more awareness, but they also very often run competitive times. Both daughters have posted such competitive times as 12.6 and 12.7 in the quarter mile; they are quite the naturals when it comes to drag racing as well. The best time put down so far is a staggering 11.6@120MPH. Here's a video of Marada racing against a 650HP supercharged Camaro.



Ken, and wife, Angela, have five daughters, Erica, Alyssa, Maranda, Kylah, and of course Macey are all amazing people who remain positive during this tough time. Their raising awareness and their unfaltering support for Macey has become a huge staple in all of their lives, and they further continue to touch the lives of the people who hear of their story.
