I this a good deal?

I got a 2013 X5 35i Premium. MRSP is 63,645 with 7 security deposits and owner loyality bonus for $750. Paying $1,187 extra including the first month lease payment for a monthly payment of $818.80 for 10,000 miles per year. Is this a good deal?

Doing some math I should be about $767 based upon the web site info. Wanted to get someone to confirm that the price was too high.

Again, if you've already taken possession, why ask?

This is a bit pointless after you already got the car but it sounds waaay too expensive.

I hope your monthly at least includes all taxes.

Other than that I just ordered mine with more options, 12k miles per year nothing down and no security deposits for $607/mo.

My last BWM I bought I was to get help from this board and saved alot of money. Sorry the deal is not finalized.

7 security deposits?? That's a lot of cash up front. No thanks.

What is the invoice price? How much over invoice are you paying?

So what is wrong with asking after the fact? I never understand this criticism, he maybe happy with what he got but he just wants other peoples take on the deal. That's all, not trying to change the world!

how long are the leases you guys are talking about? wouldn't a longer lease cost less per month? or is it standardised...?

36 mo here and in my experience the shorter leases can be very cheap since the residual remains very high.

Got a G37X for my wife. 18mo 10k per mo. Base was $199/mo and after adding most of the options ended up $250/mo with zero down. That's a $45k or so car...

She did not... I could not resist the price. It's an 18mo lease so we'll be looking for something new soon enough.

I gotta say that for the price, the Infiniti is buggy as hell. Bluetooth works but I can barely hear my wife, iPod integration is the worst I have seen. 12-15mpg it gets on a good day a LOT for a car of that size.

On a good note, it is fast and has plenty of horsepower. The motor has a great deep sound to it which I like. Still, I am glad I drive bimmers.

That's an unbelievable deal. Probably even better than last year's Z4 and 750 hybrid deals.

What do you mean by residual is very high? can you not just give the car back at the end of the lease? that sounds like an exceptional deal! How did you get them to do a <24 month lease?

Of course the car goes back at the end of the lease, that's the point of it.

When leasing you are financing the difference between whatever price you negotiate and the residual value of the car at the end of the lease.

As for the 18 month lease, they are/were offering 18 month leases so I went for it.
