Sunroof Query

The Sunroof on my e34 is stuck in the flipped up position ; when the switch is pushed to actuate closed there is a momentary sound from motor .Then nothing happens ,is something stuck or has my motor failed? Finally where can i find out how to fix this problem ?

for the mean time pop the panel off above your rear view mirror and manually wind it closed. could be the motor is dead or the roof is jammed (something in the tracks perhaps)

He forgot to tell ya there's a tool (allen wrench) in your trunk mounted tool box. The whole procedure is in your owners manuel.

Download the e34 bentley and look up how to remove the sunroof so that you can check and lube the tracks.
