Starting query

I have just noticed that when I start my X5 4.4i the halo lights flicker a few times. It does this when the lights are turned off but does not flicker when turned on prior to starting the motor. I dont understand why this happens but think there must be a short somewher. No fault message comes on. I would appreciate any help to rectify this.

Yes they are LEDs. I recently installed them because the old ones shone a yellow light. I cant understand how the power would be getting to them with the lights turned off. Except for them flickering on and off on starup everything else id fine. I hope there is no power short anywhere. Thanks for youe response. Much appreciated.

no short just LEDs have such a low resistance, its the CPU checking all ur lights by sending a voltage pulse and it measures the resistance, dont worry bout it

my buddyes m3 LED lecence plate lights stay on for 15 mins after he turns em off

i bought mine from ecs and they are half as bright but they are the perfect resistance and dont flicker and turn off and on properly
