My hobby for the last 5 years...
Haven't been on in just over 2 years. Still not beamin,' but I've had fun putting this car together. It's a 1979 Honda Civic CVCC. Just got the paint job done last month and added OEM fender mirrors to it. For a more detailed look at the process, you can go to my little slice of Internet at www.mycvcc.weebly.com. I have had this car sanded completely to the metal and brought back up.
Hope you enjoy!

Thanks for the compliments, fellas!
As far as interior pics, this next on my stage to "completion." Here are a couple of pics from The Mitty at Road Atlanta a couple of weeks ago followed by an older (but current) picture of my interior (remember it's not done, lolol). Just gives you a perspective on how small this car really is. I'm 6'1 1/2" tall and 220 lbs, lolol. ![]() ![]()

Here are a couple of pics from the last couple of weeks. The last three are of my interior as of this morning when I installed my recently acquired dash clock. This piece was only available in the Japanese market. It wasn't even an option in any other market so I'm glad to have gotten it.

The location of the mirrors looks like the car was built for Japanese consumption, but it is left hand drive. Do you know the history of the Civic?

The mirrors are Japanese spec RS mirrors. These were from the factory. Of course my car being from the states, it had the USDM factory door mounted mirror. When i sourced the Japanese (hate saying JDM because of the tuner crowd's overuse of the term) spec mirrors, I removed the USDM mirror and had the holes patched over and these installed. So this car is a state-issued car with Japanese mirrors. The only item I have that was Japan market only is the dash clock. Here a couple of backside shots: ![]()
