Recall dealing with turbo?

Upon getting my car in for the tire replacement, the service manager tells me that there is a recall that has recently come up. It involves (pardon my paraphrasing if I muck this up) replacing the fan in the turbo with one with a different number of blades. I gather it changes the amount of air moving through the system.

He said it would only take about 15 minutes - not considered major.

Does this ring a bell with anyone? I don't know that I'd seen it mentioned here.

I haven't received any notice for recall dealing with the turbo. I did get the one about the EGR, I think it was, a few months ago.

Compressor or turbine wheel on the turbo would surely take more than 15 minutes to change out!

Replaced SCR Mixer with Update per SIB 18 06 12

Perhaps that can be decoded by someone?

This is nothing to do with the turbo.
