Coilover deal

Hey guys,
Anyone who wants to get a great deal on coilovers check out this link.

We need 7 more people to get a better deal. (Costa I'm looking at you) They do require some modifictions to the strut housing on the fronts. As well as an alignment, however the rears are a straight install.

you need to make sure that the spring rates are adjustable independently to the height or they won't be worth buying and youll be dissapointed with them. you also need to find out what brand the springs and shocks are. your spending big coin on coilovers anyway, you may as well make sure your getting good ones! unless of course you are just buying them to get low and not bothered about the handling tradeoff, in which case dont worry about what i said!

They're Kido brand, everyone on there is more than satisfied with them. They have fully adjustable dampening and height.

When are you thinking of getting them? Coils would do wonders to my car

So far, I'm planning on buying an M5 subframe with diff and getting my rims refinished hahaha. 900 for the subframe, 900 for coils + install and 800 for rims

There's always a group buy going on, but if we get 6 more the price will drop $50. Its cool if you got other projects to get done first. The estimated cost would about 1500 for the completed setup. I just remember you were saying you were wanting coils at some point

Yeah I was always interested in them, mainly because they're adjustable. After doing some reading online, I am still unsure if I need shocks. I understand a coilover is a spring coil over strut but people online still say you need shocks.

The guy who's doing the group buy is not only very knowledgeable on e34s and a good seller. He's also a good friend of mine. If I didn't already have coilovers I'd jump on them.

No shocks needed my friend. It's a complete system with shocks and springs. Read the second link I posted it shows how there installed.

real coilover setups never need shocks, they are an all in one unit. **** brands you dont want are separate
