To each their own, my headliner, A & C pillars and parcel shelf are all suede though, so it has something to tie into. I'm still deciding whether or not to do the glove box trim to match, or leave it fake-CF

![]() Probably going to stay like this for a little while though, at least until the weather gets cooler and I can pull my interior without sweating buckets.

I did a 3m brushed aluminum vinyl look on the glovebox trim and it looks pretty decent!

Very clean! Matching door sills would be a nice touch.

james, love the look of brushed aluminum.
joey, the joining point of the obd1 m exhaust is fairly easy to weld to. going all the way up to a 3" diameter would be easier to do with an adapter from 2 1/2 to 3". i used 2 1/2" pipe on cadence, and then simply ran it back all the way @ that diameter. i just ovaled out the one end a tiny bit to get a tight fit and used the arc welder. till the muffler fell off.... (stooopid trans mounts ) of course the fact that i may have been standing on it a bit and twisting the bejeebers out of her on every take off out of the toll booths....or that i had only 1 support on the muffler....naaah....don't meen nuthin'....since the front pipes are already cut, though, and is where you are having a fitment issue, i'm not convinced that your midpipe would be the best solution. i have another m50 front section, from a 525 e34that may work, though. i'll have to measure the pipe diameter, and can compare it to the //M exhaust i had on cadence for contour. if it looks like it would work, i could even weld on a 2 1/2" to 3" adapter to the rear of it for your cat location. it's dark now, but i will get the pics asap for you, k?? df

Just changed my interior lights that come on when you open a door over to LED.....
huge improvement.. Finally got rid of that stupid damn "Rear Brake Light Failure" or whatever the hell it says...I've been fighting with that since I put the new tails in a week ago...It was a bad contact on the passenger side then the bulb on that side blew..

Went to a local C&C and ended up going to lunch with a bunch of car people. A C43 AMG, 560SEC, 996 Turbo, first gen viper, modded NSX, etc. My friend got some rolling shots of my car, should be pretty awesome. I'll post them in the pics thread when he uploads them.

Got the manifold back on with a VERY temporary heater core bypass. I'm not even sure it will last the time needed for the blue devil.
Gonna drain the coolant and refill, pull the tstat, and run the stuff through. So, Im also flushing the oil simultaneously with a bit of ATF for the next few hours while the blue devil goes through to make sure theres no residual coolant. If I use 2 quarts with 5 quarts oil will that be too harsh? Sent from my Galaxy Tab using BimmerApp

I'd go a bit lower chad. 1.5 to 5.5 would be most for me. Consider running seafoam through?

M3 front calipers won't go in without M3 spindles.

Gotcha. BTW, did you know you can get them brand new for pretty cheap at BimmerWorld? They've been running this "sale" on them for years now:

Screw the m3 fronts. Save for a used bbk. It's totally worth it
