anyone contact BMW CCA about X1 rebate yet?

a CCA rep last told me that the X1 hasn't been added yet since it's a new model (to the US I guess). Doesnt seem right to me, why the wait? after all isn't it a CCA membership loyalty rebate? They say that historically new models have been added the following model year. Can someone confirm this?

OK, thanks. the question remains, why? isn't this a CCA loyalty rebate? what's the rational to have members wait for models to be come eligible???

so does the offer have to be valid when we take delivery or can we apply retroactively when the offer becomes available?

•Mail the complete application and back-up documentation to the address on the bottom left of the application within 60 days of the date of delivery (for European Delivery, it is 60 days from the date of Munich delivery) EMAILS AND FAXES ARE NOT ACCEPTED.

Here's another quote from their site:
"The X1 is not currently included in the 2012 rebate program. We do not expect that to change for the first year but please check back after taking delivery to confirm."

I take these quotes to mean that one can apply for the credit up to 60 days past the delivery date. If the X1 becomes eligible within that timeframe, then go for it! But most likely it will be available starting with MY14, sometime next summer.
