DCT Clutch and Disc REplacement

On average when can one expect to have to replace the clutch and disc on these cars.

I am trying to determine if the the extended warranty is worth it. I can definitely change my own brakes so the next big wearable are the dual clutches and disc.

Any suggestions?

Woold it not be considered a wear item?
