Battery Disconnect

After I disconnect my battery; then reconnct it. Will anything else need to be done for my 745Li to operate normally ?

OK, Why are you disconnecting the battery?

if its the same battery,you are disconnecting...nothing needs to be done....i had mine disconnected for 3 days while working on car,connected the battery and nothing....all you need after that just adjust the clock/date....

Thank You.. I'm going to install a G-Force Chip.. I've read and heard about thing goins south after a battery was changed or a ECU reset was needed..

i just checked out gforcechips website and they are saying up to 60HP gains and 30 lb=ft...let us know how it turns out and if you feel the difference in power

I got the modual installed and the car does seem quicker.

(it was also a chance to clean out my trunk and clean corrosion from my Battery)

I'm taking a roadtrip over Labor Day weekend (about 750 - 800 miles)..

I'll let you know what I think after I return..

let us know how is the mpg?

what does the difference in air/fuel ratio and ignition timing change do to the car long term? life span less? failure more imminent ?

01.. 847 miles 36 Gal Fuel.. (Total for trip)

02.. Leg 1(91786 to 84770) 367 miles (6 Hrs) 15.426 Gal Fuel.

Drive around town some..

03.. Leg 2(84770 to 89031) 241 miles 11.314 Gal Fuel.

04.. Leg 3(89031 to 91786) 239 miles 9.269 Gal Fuel.
