With enough $$$, anything can work, question is why? If your looking for a large sport sedan why not just get a B7. No need to reinvent the bicycle. It'll end up cheaper buying an Alpina, or M5 or any other performance oriented sedan than to start building one.

@iceman5 buying an alpina b7 is too easy and i basically just got this car i think it should be possible I'm looking to get the car to at least 500hp!
@csmeance before i start the engine work my dads good friend does completely custom body kits and he's doing a really nice one for my car its in-between ac and hamann its really nice i have a 3d model of it i can post if you like and than the whole car is going to be matte black with alpina b7 spoiler than when exterior is done I'm going to the engine! as soon as i get all this figured out ill start posting pictures of how its going! I guarantee that little turbo will not make 500hp
you would probably need two turbos for each bank of cylinders. Given that the motor has high compression, you will need to lower it to make significant power gains. Where would you mount the turbos? Might have to do a lot of piping for rear mount setup. Then comes fuel, tuning, injectors, fuel pump. I think you will spend well over $15K spent to get the power you are looking for Youre better off with a Supercharger kit. Hit up Active Autowerke.

No I'm for sure getting a super charger I don't know why I was thinking about a turbocharger and would an m3 supercharger work on the 745i and I know a guy I don't remember if he's on this forum or a different one but he used a 5 series ess supercharger.

That's what I'm probably getting but it's for the 545i because they don't have them for 7 series but Ive heard that's what people do so I'll probably do that soon

Giz11 is the man you're looking for. Look up his most recent thread and it has all the information you need. His gains went from 273.8 rwhp to 354 rwhp which is about a 30% gain. Not yet 500 hp but close

10:1 compression .. how much room you have for boost is the question ..
answer is internal work must be done = $$$$ and "tick tock tick tock" |

Right now the car is completely stock so I still have room.

stock is 10:1
which means you dont have room and if you do its enough for maybee 5 pounds of presure |
