fixed mine. for some reason the mirrors, both sides stopped working, including toilt and memory nothing worked.

I removed the drivers mirror glass and front cover and checked all connections. I removed the drivers side door panel and the triangular cover. I unpluged the mirror. I disocnnedted the baterry for 10 second. I reconneded the battery. I then tried the passenger mirror and it worked. I plugged the drivers mirror back in and it worked. fixed.

Ialso had worked on the rear door panel and the rear window switch stopped working. the drivers switch would work though. when I did the above procedure on the mirrors and unplugging the battery , the rear window swtich started working again.

I have a new window switch for sale if anyone needs one for Drivers side
PN#61313414354. Will sale for 60 dollars shipped.

I know it's been a year since you have posted this but I was wondering if you still have that switch. (I would PM but I haven't been a member for 24hrs.)

I have the same issue everyone else has had. First my back right window switch wouldn't work, then my front passenger side wouldn't work. They replaced both switches and it worked again but then the driver switch stopped. They unplugged the driver side mirror and like MAGIC all switches worked. (Even the old ones)

I was wondering which part needs to be replaced.

Rep.kit f memory drive driver's side 67136965061 or just actuator left 67138362421

There's a big price difference.

Ok, spent the day on this. Hopefully this gives all the details in one shot.
  • 2004 X3 - Windows/Mirrors not working at all. They ARE lighted up, but the Lock button does not light on/off. Remains off.
  • Passenger mirror DOES move on Reverse.
  1. Battery disconnect. Shorted out leads.
  2. Removed door Panel
  3. Removed Black Mirror Housing and disconnected white connector. Windows/mirrors still not working. (i did not redux the battery disconnect. Is it worth it or just order a switch?

Is it time to buy the switch?
