AC Question
Experts I need help. I have a 2003 3.0i.
I had my AC serviced by my Indy due to it not cooling all the time. It ended up being a half pound low on freon and the low side shradder valve was leaking and replaced. Today, it was 96 degrees today and the AC would not cool the inside of the vehicle. The compressor and external fan are both working. Even the condensor lines are sweating (dripping water) like they should. I did notice the low side line to the AC was not sweating when the AC was not cooling. Is there a relay on the compressor that could be going out? Or is there a resister? Please advise, many thanks as I want to travel on a trip to Texas from Ohio but want it fixed. |

Hi,
Any update on what this turned out to be? |

AC works now if it does not get up around 96 degrees outside. I think the compressor was not keeping up with the humidity. It was making a whinning noise loader and loader. Now the temps have dropped outside and I have no issues with it cooling.
