It's really hard to describe. It's much lighter than my Topaz Z3 in the shade and lighter still in the sunlight. It's not as gaudy as I originally thought, but it still turns heads, even over here.

Vern, I did some of the passes, and they were incredible. I did Sella, Falzarego, Pordoi, Campolongo. Almost got killed by a tour bus a few times, slept really well.

Ok, this was my celebration after driving the Nordschleife. 3 Liters of pure goodness, they called it the "Superman Beer".

I was heavily sedated that evening.

After driving the Nordschleife and drinking beer, Sunday was kind of low key.

We drove to Frankfurt via the Mosel river and dropped the car off.

The car carrier truck pulled up as I was signing papers.

I think half of the pictures of me taken on our ED involved beer consumption

Hans-Georg, the Rothenburg ODT Nightwatchman, has quite a nice gig going for himself. The first time we took his tour was in the early Nineties and it was only in German, but Georg translated things into English for my awestruck kids. We've been back three other times and I swear the guy has not aged at all. Maybe he really does channel the spirits of the old Nightwatchmen. I see he now has a website, videos, souvenirs and a vacation condo in Florida. All for working just a few hours every night - and I mean every single night.

We sat in Hell and he came in and had a beer with us at our table (he had a huge glass of red wine) in between our tour ending at 9:00 and the German one starting at 9:30. Dude makes bank, but great ideas usually pay off.

Those huge beers are amazing....where is that place, in Nurburg? If it is I am definitely going there.

How did you like the colour? Do you love it, or was it the best choice of the colours offered? I am going to see EBII in person tomorrow at a dealership on my way to Toronto. I find it so hard to gauge from the pics I have seen online cuz it can look so different. But I am definitely leaning toward it.
