Orion Silver where/what are you?

I have Orion Silver with Crimson Red, which I ordered, not a car on the dealer's lot. Enjoy the color combination, always get lots of positive comments, even dealer compliments, say they have not seen another like it come through the dealership. So maybe it makes in somewhat unique, not a bad thing.

I have to agree whit you it is unique. Unfortunately not for the good reason!

That is a nice combination. I have seen one in person with that combination and it looiks great. I ordered mine as well, but with the white ivory nappa and I love the look. I always get positive comments, too. I wanted to order my new Z4 with something totally different from the colors that I normally choose for my cars and loved this color when I saw it.

As far as all the negativity from az34, I am now finding it rather amusing. He obviously believes that his opinion really matters and everyone else is off base. He seems like he has nothing better to do than make a crusade of dissing some of us. To each his own, but I have never encountered anyone like him on any board over the years. He obviously has other issues.

Not for a "good" reason? Really, because none of your previous posts would have indicated that at all. ..and here I thought you absolutely loved Orion Silver. I told everyone I know that you loved Orion Silver.

I hunted for orion silver with white/beige interior, as on a personal taste basis, I think it is a brilliant combination, having said this I went looking for a white interior and the only colour available at the time was Black Sapphire, (which is a dime a dozen colour as there is a vast number BMWs are on the road here in the UK!!) Having said this polished there is no better colour than black sapphire sadly it lasts 10 secs before the car gets dirty and it shows everything AAAAAAAAAAAArgh! but I still like her !!!!
But the white interior always makes me smile when I get in, and once in you can't see the outside.......
Funny story I went to a motoring event (goodwood festival) parked in a car park which was a field, looked at all the location markers for my return! When returning to my car the field now had thousands of cars parked and a lot of the location markers had been knocked over etc...... 2 hrs later having walked for miles up and down the lanes (blazing sunshine) looking for my car I realised how many black, kidney grilled BMW cars there are, all of them not mine!!! and then the Z4 being so low could not see it even tried raising the roof to find it!!!! to no avail....... save to say I did find it but what a lesson in colours and BMW I had !!!!!!!! BLack aaargh

Ummmm take a look at my signature.

Orion Silver and Coral Red. I looked around for months and found one thing that jumped out at me.

there were only two colors that really accented the lines of the car. Orion Silver and Alpine White. I couldnt find an alpine white so I took the Oprion Silver. I must say I am very happy with my choice.

I leased one in April. I like the color a lot and it is easy to keep looking clean.

exactly why I picked the color too - keep the wheels clean - and the car looks clean - also a sophisticated color for a sports car - not the usual black, read, white, silver or blue !

I love my Orion Silver and Ivory White interior. It is very easy to keep clean. I was coming from my last Z4 which was Monaco Blue and was just as hard as black to keep clean. I still wash the car and detail almost as much as I use to, but now at least my efforts show longer.

I love how this car looks different in different light. I also think that this color really shows off the lines of the car.

Saw a new F30 328i in this color recently at our dealer, both my wife and I almost simultaneously said "wow" and it's because we both think it's a great looking color. Unfortunately I'm looking at an M Sport 335i which does not have this color as an option otherwise I'd be all over Orion Silver and Red Interior.
