6 Series
The BMW 6 Series builds on BMW's sporty heritage with aggressive lines and an incredible motor to back the design up. Available in coupe and convertible trims with a standard 4.8 liter engine producing 360 horsepower and 360 lb-ft of torque, the 6-series is a popular choice that exceeds expectations. |

Navigation & Stereo Issue - Needs Your Help
I own 2007 650i Convertible. I just love this car.
I am recently having a minor issue I would like to resolve. The navi and stereo all works fine, but while I am driving, the navy and stereo system resets by itself once in a while. The screen goes black all of a sudden, about a minute later it displays the BMW logo, and the system comes back working fine again. It happens randomly once in a while. Did anyone experience the same thing and know the fix? THANK YOU, in advance. |

Sounds like something is loose. I might try to get in the dash and check the connection.
You might also try resetting the thing yourself once. Push both eject buttons (DVD/CD) and the volume / mute button at the same time. iDrive will reset itsef. But it sounds like that is what is happening to you already. No harm in trying. Good luck.

Thank you. I will try it - anything helps. I am glad I posted the issue. I will update the result. Thanks, again.

It could also be a bad NAV DVD. I would try ejecting the DVD and wait a few days to see if that clears the issue.

It happens on my 7 series on early morning drives. The strange thing is that it only happens on left hand turns. I have read that it is a symptom that is related to the CIC module. When it throws a code, I will find it. Until it fails, I will learn to live with it!

Also you may have a battery problem if the battery is not up to par in your car. I read before that the NAV and iDrive usually show indications first of a battry dying first. Try the suggestions given by the other members first because it cost nothing, then if you haven't check your battery, try that.

You might have a valid point here, mine has not acted up since changing the battery 2 months ago. I had not realized this until this post. I hope I don't jinx myself! |

Navi, Radio, Bluetooth issue
Hello gents I have a few issues on my 2004 645 ci,that I believe are all linked some how; my voice navigation doesn't work, I only get one radio station, and when I try to select my bluetooth it doesn't allow me to select it. Any ideas on what this could be? Don't really want to give the dealer $200 to diagnose this.
