Just to clarify, the tire sidewall is not bulging but the lines that run round the circumference are a little off by a few mm as evidence of it having been pinched. When you run your hand round the sidewall there is no bulge. Drove to work today still no air leak so far probably going to order something from tire rack this weekend. The one inch cut is kinda bothering me.

If you can see the steel belts the tire is damaged. Replace it.

Probability of rapid decompression very low. For me, RFT disadvantages far outweighed what it does for me.

Gotta wonder if new generation RFT's ride well with M3 suspension....
