Anybody know how to instal iPod cable AUX?

Hey guys!
Hope you are all doing fine. I don't know about you but besides my Z3 I have another passion... iPhones. Like the Z3 i have done all kinds of repairs for broken screen, microphone replacement etc.

My question is, has anyone installed a iPod connector for music AUX to their OEM stereo?
A DIY either written or video would be extremely helpful...

Thanks guys

I went this route instead: http://www.amazon.com/Bluetooth-Inte...keywords=Livio

It synchs with an unused FM station and then Bluetooth connects my iPhone to it. So far I have been pleased with it.

BlitzSafe makes an adapter that uses the CD changer cable to connect any Aux device.

Only problem with the install is running the Aux cable from the trunk (where the CD changer cable is) into the cabin. Not a huge problem, but not the easiest thing either.

I just put an 1/8" stereo jack in the console.

Ok, this sounds promising. Can you please elaborate on this, maybe a DIY? I'm really iffy when it comes to electronics...

You find the CD changer cable in the trunk. It is behind one of the panels. Plug in the BlitzSafe adapter. The plug only goes in one way.

Plug in a stereo extension cable to the BlitzSafe device. The cable can be found at Radio Shack, you need one like this - http://www.radioshack.com/product/in...uctId=13242132

Run the cable to the cabin.

If you want to get fancy, you can install a jack in the console. But easiest is just run the extension cable to somewhere convenient.
